About Hitched

Hitched is a responsive, retina-ready template designed for couples who want a stylish website to celebrate their upcoming wedding.

Hitched comes with two colour schemes and three background patterns to choose from, giving you 6 instant variations.

Update: The Wordpress version of Hitched is now also available on ThemeForest.

Features:

  • Fully responive design

  • Retina-ready

  • 2 colour variations: charcoal and peach, or chocolate and peach

  • 32 well-structured and clearly sign-posted HTML templates

  • Set your site up with a one-page layout, or use a multi-page layout

  • Blog templates

  • Responsive slider integration

  • Custom carousel with touch support

  • Lightbox integration with Colorbox

  • Twitter widget

  • Google Maps widget

  • Instagram widget

  • Flickr widget

  • Adaptive images—don’t waste your users’ bandwidth (requires Apache 2, PHP5.x and GD lib)

  • Contact & RSVP forms with validation

  • Stylish fonts loaded from Google Web Fonts (Bitter and Sofia)

  • Integration with FontAwesome

  • Includes PSD files and 17-page documentation

  • Free support

Note: Photos used in the demo site do not come with the purchased files.

Extra note: The template includes the design elements for a commenting system on blog posts, but does not include any comment functionality. If this is something you require, the Wordpress version of Hitched is a better option for you.

Changelog

1.1 – 4 Match, 2013

  • Updated Twitter integration to account for changes to Twitter API. In order to display your latest tweets, you now have to create a Twitter application and add its credentials to a PHP script. Unfortunately it is no longer possible to fetch tweets without the use of a server-side script (i.e. this is no longer a Javascript-only solution). There are step by step instructions in the documentation explaining how to create a Twitter application and add the details to your site.

Files added:

  • lib/twitter

Files changed:

  • media/js/hitched.js

  • media/js/jquery.fetch.js

1.0 – 10 November, 2012

  • Initial release
